First sighting in my yard. I went in for my camera once I was certain it was a Monarch, and when I came back out, I didn't see it again.
I checked the milkweed in nearby pastures and didn't see any eggs. The monarch looked bright and new. The weather here has been sunny and warm: 70s and 80s. Before the monarch sighting I had already seen painted ladies and swallowtails(black and eastern tiger), and some I can't identify, but no Red Barons.
