Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

On March 20th, we saw our first female Monarch. With faded and tattered wings, she flew among the milkweed laying eggs.

On March 21st, we saw a Monarch flying through my courtyard.

Mobile, Alabama. Suzanne D saw her first Monarch Sunday, March 19th. She laid about 30 eggs.

Mobile, Alabama. Rebecca B and I saw our first Monarch in her yard on Monday, March 20th. She laid about 20 or so eggs.

Mobile, Alabama. I saw my first Monarch on Tuesday, March 21st. No eggs that I have found.

My asclepias perennis emerged first and then my currasavica from last year started growing leaves again. Same with Suzanne’s milkweed and Rebecca’s milkweed.
