Seen at Red Slough WMA. Was a fresh looking individual. Weather has been unseasonably warm and a bit on the dry side. The day I we saw it was a bit cooler (70’s) but mild with south wind. Partly sunny. Have not noticed any milkweed coming up yet but haven’t looked. All the swallowtails are flying and Red Admirals. A whole host of butterflies species are flying, pretty much all the typical spring flyers.
