Red buckeye, native azalea, and columbine were coming into bloom along with my blue berries.I knew hummingbirds could not be far behind. I mixed up nectar and hung up my first feeder this morning. I WAS RIGHT a couple of hours later, there he was at my feeder, my first ruby- throated hummingbird of this year. A beautiful male.
