Since the mass departure was noted around the 19th or so...we should see increased activity this coming weekend in Driftwood.

We have found it is about 2 weeks from the sanctuaries to us (at least for the healthy Monarchs).

The more worn and battered ones will take longer...if they make it at all.

You should be getting good reports and photos from others soon...if not already.

The migration is moving quickly....at least from what I have seen.

Saw a few Monarchs this past weekend that were "booking it" north quickly.

Not interested in anything...no milkweed...no nectar.

Wind shifted on Sunday and that made it easier for them.
