Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 03/29/2017

Number: 1

In the same area as the mating pair I saw another male flying and nectaring. This photo shows him getting nectar from a Yellow Thistle (Cirsium horridulum). Like the females I have seen laying eggs, this male too has faded wings. They are all long-journeyed, intrepid monarchs!
