The calm before the storm... We went out to check on our tulips for the first time in 23 days, and just before another 12" of snow expected. We had TWO amazing surprises while we were observing. WE HAVE EMERGED! AND... WE SAW A BALD EAGLE FLYING ABOVE OUR TULIP TEST GARDEN!!!!! WOW! 1st one ever in my 20 years of teaching. Air and Ground Temps are in the 40*F range. #notforlong
