I saw this eagle while at the LBJ Ranch just outside Stonewall, TX. I pointed it out to one of the Park Service Rangers who was there as well. He confirmed that there are bald eagles in the area, but that there are also a specie of Mexican eagle (I don't know what kind as I am not a birder) that nest in the area. The uploaded photo was cropped severely ("Edited") to focus on the eagle in the sky. I also have a copy of the original photo from my phone if that is preferable.
