I have had an over-wintering Anna's hummingbird. Been here since September. I have kept the feeder going all winter, he comes in the morning and evening. Well I work during the day so he might come then too. I bring the feeder in at night due to freezing temperatures and put it out in the morning. A friend came to my yard and snapped this picture.
The Rufous left in July/August. The Anna's was a daily visitor up until mid-February and then he moved on. I think he had been a regular visitor because when I first spotted him in September he was at the spot where I had been hanging the sugar-water feeder.
