The robins are nesting. I observed the building itself. The robin in our white pine has built a nest in the same tree for years. It often gets blown out during some of our Indiana storms. The robin was using unusual nesting material as paper from building wrap being used across the street. Another robin has established a nest in another white pine on our property. The two often compete for building materials. The males are still engaging in territorial behavior.
