All Other Signs of Spring
Sightings report image

Date: 04/03/2017

Number: 1

Over the past week, we have spotted a number of “signs of spring” around our house. Currently appearing, as shown in the photo below, starting in the upper-left-hand corner and working clockwise, are:
• Forsythia
• a first Hepatica bloom and buds
• Tête-à-Tête Daffodils
• Trillium
• Dwarf Iris
• and the first new leaves on our P.J.M. Rhododendron.
While most of our full-size daffodils are still showing only buds, many (with better sun exposure) are blooming throughout our neighborhood. I think Spring has finally established a foothold here in central Pennsylvania.
