Bald Eagle

We were driving north to I75 at around 6:00 pm. It was cloudy. As the passenger, I was noticing s lot of hawks in flight throughout the trip north from Columbus to Fenton, Mi. I was looking out the window into the tree filled area that our exit ramp looped around to transition from highway 33 to I75. I noticed a large nest in a tree top with two large birds perched up on the edges of the nest. Immediately one left the nest and flew to a nearby tree top. I knew then it was an eagle. The other was leaning into the nest as if it were feeding its young. I was so excited to witness this! A bit surprised they would choose this location. Is this nest or this pair already on your records? I am passionate about live eagle sightings. See a lot in the UP in Michigan.
