Husband saw it fly over in our driveway.

I asked my husband the exact same question - he said he's almost 100% positive it was a Monarch. We've never seen any Viceroys around here. It flew right past him and had a slow, graceful flight like a Monarch. We've raised a LOT of Monarchs (while living in Texas), so he's very familiar with them.
