This is a follow-up photo showing the pollen-covered monarch as she nectared from a showy primrose. She emerged with the buttery pollen attached to her, but she didn't mind, and just went along finding more flowers to sip from. I was so happy to see her get nourishment from the wildflowers, as she also was seeking milkweed and laying eggs this morning after the storms the day before. What a strong and delightful spirit!
