The first migrant Robins were reported in Algonquin Provincial Park on March 30th. The public announcement was made by Ron Tozer, Retired Park Naturalist. He stated that they were "clearly newly arrived migrants", and there were two, possibly 3 reliably sighted.
Hwy 60 - Frank MacDougall Parkway - runs through the south end of this huge provincial park, which is larger than our province of Prince Edward Island. Or the same size as Delaware and Rhode Island combined.
One was seen at the park Visitor Centre - 45.585136, -78.360693
One was seen at the West Gate: 45.442066, -78.820206 . A third may have been seen here as well on the same day.
