Observed about 1 per hour. Wing condition varied from very faded to lightly faded. Temps in 70's with sunny skies and SW winds at 10mph.

I was watching for three hours and saw one monarch per hour. Also saw three yesterday (April 10) and watched for a little over three hours. Even though these sightings are not like the high numbers that we used to have some years ago, they are better that the observations of the past several years.
