We saw this in our school's Outdoor Learning Environment in the butterfly garden around 2:30. We think it's a male because of the thin lines, but are not sure. There were 3 monarch butterflies on the plants in the butterfly garden. They were pretty active. This picture is of the larger butterfly. The other 2 were smaller.
