I couldn't get close enough to see if it was a male or female; but, it had stopped to rest on a few leaves in a ditch to get a drink. Luckily, we've had some cleansing rains last week to wash away any residue of pesticides or herbicides the neighboring farms might have used. And, there are wild cherry, red bud and maple blooming, along with dandelions, spirea and some other wild flowers I don't know the names of.
