Robin (Nesting Behavior)

Date: 04/10/2017

Number: 8

We have suddenly had unseasonably warm temperatures with today reaching up to 81F. I have been watching the robins from my front yard porch and I have seen males chasing males, some females and lots of singing from the area all around my property. They are flying across the street into the woods, around the ponds on my property and hanging out in the 4 huge maple trees on the border of my eastern property line. They have been flying down into the yard and picking up clumps of my three huskies fur which they have been shedding over the last few weeks. They just love this dog hair for nesting material and I am glad they take it.
