The hummingbirds had not been using the feeders, so I thought they had moved to someone else's yard.
I was out potting new plants on 4/9/17 and heard the buzzing noise of a hummer's wings. I had my camera sitting next to me, with the viewing window angled so that all I had to do was slowly reach down and click to take the photo.
The photo I sent you is what my camera recorded.
I keep the suet feeder filled with lint, yarn bits, and other nesting materials, but I've never seen a hummer do this before.
