He came very, very early to the feeder, just after sunrise. Drank for a minute or so and left. I was astonished to see him so early in the month. I just put up the feeders yesterday. I don't always put my feeders up this early, but I read about the relationship between sapsuckers (which I have seen here) and hummingbirds. No flowers that I have seen, a few mosquitos, though. And sap is flowing.
