I was very surprised to see a lone monarch fluttering around my yard as I was driving away which made me jump out of my car to try to get closer! It seemed to be looking for the lantana they love, but it's not blooming yet. I have lots of milkweed coming up (about 3-4" tall) and it flew by but I didn't witness it stopping on any of those plants. It could have been around a while before I saw it outside. I'll check later for eggs.
