At approximately 7:00pm on April 12th I had 11 female Anna's trying to feed from one of my feeders!!!While 2 little male Anna's fought each other to try and control the area, even chasing my resident Anna's away! Meanwhile in my neighbors yard out back of my place 3 to 5 little hummers were circling their 4 feeders We have never had this many hummingbirds here and aren't sure if they're passing through or juveniles from last years nesting! Needless to say we're thrilled! I also have 1 female resident Rufous and this year her colors are exceedingly bright!
