I've been checking our yard daily, and I was finally able to spot the first Asclepias syriaca today. We received a good rain this morning, and a common milkweed sprout has shot up to 2.25" through a crack in the pavement. No sign yet of the A. verticillata and A. incarnata that we grow in our pollinator beds.
