I observed 5 monarchs during a three hour period. Wings were slight to moderately faded. Mostly sunny skies with S-SE winds at 5 to 10 mph and temps in the low to mid 80's. Flight direction S-SW to N-NE.
As mentioned in an earlier report, these numbers are up over the past several years.
