I was at Seven Islands State Birding Park from 3:15-5:30 pm. I saw three adult females during that time. Two were actively searching for Milkweed and laying eggs when they found it. The other one was eating from Dead Nettle flowers. The Milkweed is somewhat sparse here right now. Hopefully the rain we received last night will help. These girls seem a little early but they are making good use of the Milkweed they can find.
