I live in east central Kansas and have been seeing Monarchs flying by in my yard and surrounding area all week. None will stop long enough for a photo shot, however. I have been concerned because my swamp milkweed was not up and ready for them. I finally saw a stalk push through on April 13. Today it is about 2 inches tall and has 7 Monarch eggs on it. I hope it grows fast!
