Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/13/2017

Number: 2

John and I ventured to Pettigrew State Park prior to participating in The Great Dismal Swamp count conducted on April 13th lead by Brian B. We spent about 4 hours walking around the park trails and grounds. Weather was mostly sunny, around 80 degrees with light winds. There were plenty of butterflies to be seen, but most were not very interested in being photographed.
