In backyard, Second one that I've seen. First one was several weeks ago.

Timing during tax weekend is when I see first migratory.
Heavily feeding on native Lantana bush.

Lighted on 2 foot blackberry plant and seemed monarch realized it was not milkweed.

I have lots of tropical milkweed. Asclepius Currassivica, but it is covered with screen cages.

Front yard has 3 species of unprotected milkweed. Tropical, narrow and swamp. The swamp was bought and had caterpillar already on it.
