Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 04/15/2017

Number: 1

This evening I watched as a lone monarch cruised through the trees in my backyard, swerving and changing course looking for a branch to land on. This is the same way they come into the trees each September but I have not seen monarchs in the spring behave that way. Normally they are on their last leg and staying close to the ground but this monarch appeared full of energy.
