Saw one monarch flying in our front yard. There are lilacs and ajuga blooming nearby but did not see if it landed on any plants.
Also noticed yesterday that our milkweed in the front yard is just coming up with maybe four tiny leaves on a plant. The leaves are still pointing straight up and still unfurled.
