Have continued to observe monarchs flying since January but my milkweed garden has suffered from aphids, milkweed beetles or cold, so 50% of my 100 plants (4 varieties) have either died back or been ravaged. Still see 4-8 monarchs in either front or back yard at any given time. Adult larvae seen crawling across the concrete patio daily in the late afternoon or on plants. I still raise and mark approx. 1 per day but rarely see them coming back to my garden. Our house is a certified wildlife habitat and SW Monarch Waystation, so lots of wildlife enjoying nature.
