Observed an adult Monarch Butterfly flying through the Monarch Waystation in the Claire Gempp Davidson Memorial Conservation Area in Sunset Hills, MO in the mid afternoon. Numerous Common Milkweed plants are coming up in the Waystation but are not leafed out. Some Butterfly Milkweed and Swamp Milkweed plants are emerging, but are not as far along as the Common Milkweed.
