At least 7 first-instar cats on growing common milkweed shoots at the Herb Garden at Meadowbrook Park, where I saw a ragged female laying eggs on the 17th. Also, several plants with many open egg shells, but no cats. Weather has been in the 80s, and the milkweed is growing fast; some plants are 8-10 inches tall now.
