I have observed several monarchs in our yard everyday for two weeks. Our stand of milkweed is covered with eggs!!! I am hoping the milkweed grows fast as much food will be needed! This faded monarch laid her eggs on 4" plants... we have around 50 plants from 2"-18"! Today was warm, 80 degrees and partly sunny.
