Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/21/2017

Number: 1

I saw one, very worn adult monarch in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and it was laying eggs. This must be a monarch that came a long distance possibly all the way from an overwintering site in Mexico. this is the first monarch I have sighted in the National Park.
