I have a male in my trees and I have now put out seeds for the red winged blackbird, hundreds of scissor tails, Cardinals, and mockingbird. We also have several red-tailed hawks that nest in our oak trees every year. We have had the red winged blackbird for many years I just stumbled upon your reporting site. We live on 52 acres of grassland with a pond our home is off Highway 198. We've had abundant rain and unusual warm weather so far. Happy to report and do what I can do to help these birds.
