Hello bird people, Just tilled up some ground for a new garden and there's a robin picking bugs out. Have set up three hummer feeders now I need some hummers. Have planted hot lips salvia,colombine,gold flame honeysuckle,have some black & blue and lady in red salvia ready to put in the garden. Will go out to the nursery next Saturday and pick up Wendy's wish salvia. Bird feeders are up and put jelly out. All the usual suspects. Chipping sparrows have replaced juncos. Have seen lots of Bald eagles. There were eight turkey valtures circling over my house,I told them I'm not dead yet! Also saw a blue azure. I have a lot of gardening and bird watching ahead of me so I better get to it. Look foward to reading all the sightings.
