Lots of caterpillars now on the milkweed at the Herb Garden at Meadowbrook Park. At least half-dozen plants with 3-5 cats each, many more with 1-2. I found them mainly clustered around the innermost, newest leaves. All appeared to be 1st-instar, although I expected some 2nd-instar by now. We've had rather cold nights, around 40 degrees, last couple of days.
