Bald Eagle
Sightings report image

Date: 04/23/2017

Number: 1

Photo by John Rekesius (my husband). 2 eagles arrived early afternoon. The neighbor who spotted them said one had left, but it returned within the hour.

The pond is not very deep or cold, but is stocked with trout. Also contains sunfish, bass and catfish.

The eagles have been spotted a few times in recent weeks by other neighbors. There is no known nest.
