Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/16/2017

Number: 1

We saw a male ruby-throated hummingbird briefly out the living room window - it had landed in the (bare) shrub below the window. It then flew to the back of the house, to where we usually have a feeder at the kitchen window. It was almost noon. It was unusually warm (15C) for Spring. We've never seen one so early.
Then we got 4 inches of snow overnight. It's now April 25th and we haven't seen any more hummingbirds.
