We have observed what we believe is a Robin's nest almost at the top of a 20-ft. spruce tree in our front yard.
We are being careful not to show undue interest as to this nest as I recently read on Journey North that Blue Jays and Hawks (being the highly intelligent birds as they are), will sometimes observe when we humans bring attention to a nest, and that these birds are predators of the eggs and baby robins, as are other animals as well. We have many, many robins around in our front and back yards. Some have been here since February when they began establishing their territories.
