Here is a monarch from Mexico taking nectar from a thistle on April 26, taken in the same pasture on my ranch in Mason County, Texas located some five miles south and slightly east of Fredonia, Texas. The Monarch as seen feeding in the same pasture where the milkweed was spotted about a week ago in full bloom.
