At 12:45pm I thought we had a female & male B.C. chasing ea. other. Turned out it w 2 females. My husband w my extra "set of eyes" 2 help me know what w going on. 1st time that I have noticed 2 females together since we have lived here at this home. I have only noticed 1 female ea. season since 2013. Maybe we will have a lot more offspring this season. We have a total of 4 now. I notice one of the females comes late at night almost every 10 min. intervals from 7:30-8:15pm. The Salvia Heatwave is a "hit" this spring but I have not noticed any hummers going to the Coral Honeysuckle or Lipstick salvia.
