I am the accelerated sciences teacher at West Middle School. This is part of a Monarch project that I do at home and the school. We have a garden at the school that was funded by a grant and I have over 50 plants at home. In the background you can see dill and fennel also. I plant these to attract the Black Swallowtail. The Asclepias plants are: Asclepias curassavica in the foreground, Asclepias incarnata (cannot be seen in this photo, and good ole common milkweed that I acquire from fields.
