Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 04/20/2017

Number: 1

We live in tall woods with a stream. Many 100' and higher tulip poplar trees coming into leaf and flower. Heard the Baltimore Oriole call first but couldn't get sighting due to height of trees. Finally saw one in flight following day. Now hearing them all along the Struble Trail on both sides of the east branch of the Brandywine. Also hearing and seeing them in profusion at Marsh Creek State Park in the trees surrounding the lake on the south side of the lake.
