I spotted a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird (our first of this season) flying near a feeder at a bedroom window. Shortly thereafter, the little hummer returned to this same feeder and fed for a very short time before flying away. She came back a third time and fed from the feeder while sitting on the perch. She then went to a feeder at our living room window. She seemed to be in very good condition!!! We always forget how truly small and wondrous they are when we see them at the beginning of a new season
