No over-winterers here. Not sure why they don't come through this particular location earlier but earliest seasonal sighting was 4/20 a few years back, and last year first sighting was 5/5 so sighting yesterday (April 4) was right on que. I didn't have feeders out yesterday but seeing one bird hanging out on an empty Sheppard's hook for two hours late afternoon it was obvious I needed to hang a feeder, although I have a plethora of preferred nectaring plants blooming for them. Picture was taken this morning after hanging feeders. Two birds, this one claiming territory and running the other bird off whenever it show up.
