Calliope male - most of the day have seen a Calliope, it was exciting since last year I was fairly sure I had a nesting female, the pot belly with a short tail... was hoping to see a male offspring this year, and have seen one for a few hours today... it is so interesting how different in temperament the different hummingbirds are, last year was the first time I see more than one bird at the same feeder, it was because the Calliope was so layed back, when other birds come to feed, it would just sit there, hoping it tolerates the other Black Chinned male that will come, suppose there will be some run ins..
