Seven 1st-2nd instar larva on four common milkweed plants in SouthRidge Park. The milkweed is emerging here a bit later than last year (or appears to, because of the dense ground cover). I found very few larva here all of last year, so it's great to see the first generation getting such a great start. Weather: 60 degrees, sunny.
